As you may have noticed there has been a lack of updates to the blog and the website! All I can say is, “2020!” I have been blessed though with a few very notable updates. In August Ros Stilla has been installed for display at the newly opened public market on Point Ruston in Tacoma, Washington. It was a very positive experience and I appreciate everyone who I worked with to make that happen. I am also excited to convey that I have a couple new pieces that will be available at Fredrick Holmes and Company in Seattle. With a few more in the near future. Thank you Fred, I appreciate your willingness (right now) to take me on as a new artist. Cheers to a positive future!
Yay! the 2020 CVG Art show
Yeah Yeah I know…..been a while since I wrote on this page! A lot is happening but I don’t want to spoil it all right away! I was informed about a week ago that a few of my pieces were accepted into the 2020 CVG Art show happening in January. It is a statewide, juried art competition and a good way to get some decent exposure in this eclectic community. Hopefully, in a few weeks I will have some positive feedback to write another blog. :)
just a little something to read.....
This article came out a couple of years ago when I was still working for Julie. My father actually fabricated most of this beautiful sculpture. All I did was spend a few weeks applying patina and finish. I guess artistry kind of runs in the blood. Figured I would post it on here because it’s still relevant, to give my dad some kudos for a job well done, plus yours truly is mentioned in the piece (cheesy smile).
I also finished Altero Meridiem. Using black walnut in this one I veered away from the usual Bubinga. The dark contrast with the raw bronze gives the piece a very refined sleek look.
Welcome
I wanted to thank you for supporting me in this new chapter of my life. I have nearly a decade of experience creating fine art by hand, abstract sculpture of fabricated bronze, exotic hard wood, and stone. Recently I have been given the tools necessary to create something that is lasting. As you can tell this is a new site that still needs some work. If you have any questions or comments please don’t hesitate to email me. Thank you again for following me on this journey. Lets see where this goes!
If you join the mailing list at the welcome page, I will send out pictures of my recent pieces, the latest on shows and other info . You can also follow me on Instagram.
